Asked by providers

Can I print the song words and send them home?

Yes. Every song in the planner is a traditional rhyme or one old enough to be in the public domain, from Peabody's rhyme lists, which name where each comes from. Copyrighted songs are never printed here.

What has to be on a sign-in sheet?

Your state's child care licensing rules decide that, and how long you keep the sheets. Most sheets have the child's name, the time in and out, and the grown-up's signature each way. The sign-in sheet links to the official place to look your state up.

Are the books really free?

Yes. The books are Peabody's own stories, free to read at peabody.kids on a phone, tablet or projector, with no sign-in and no ads. A few longer ones are marked for you to read aloud.

Why is there no medicine line on the daily slip?

A medication log is your program's own licensed form, with its own rules. The slip says “Medication: see our log” so a parent knows where to look.

Does anything I type get sent anywhere?

No. Plans, notes, the room's name and the roster stay in your browser. A share link holds only the theme, the week and which newsletter blocks are on.

My room has babies and four-year-olds. Does a theme still work?

Pick “Mixed ages” in the planner. Each part then says who does what: everyone sings, the twos do the craft with help, the fours do the letter page.

Why are there no holiday themes?

So that every room can use every week. Late November is “Thankful” (gratitude, harvest and sharing), and December is bears, snow and gingerbread.

Can I use these for family child care at my kitchen table?

That is who they are made for. Every sheet prints on a home printer in black and white, and the craft lists stay at six things or fewer.

Nothing on these pages is for a child's screen. For children's own learning games, see preschool learning games on peabody.kids.

Nothing you do here is sent to us. Plans, rosters and notes are kept in this browser. No sign-in, no ads.
