- Ask: “Which animals live on a farm, and what do they say?”
- Sing: Old MacDonald Had a Farm.
- Read: At the Farm (level 3).
Threes and fours: ten to fifteen minutes; let a child hold the book.

- Fox and the Hen (level 1, free on peabody.kids): A hen and a fox who are kind to each other.
- The Little Red Hen (read aloud, level 4): A read-aloud: who will help? The hen bakes bread alone.

You need (5): paper lunch bag, red paint, white paper strips, animal stickers or drawings, glue stick.
- Paint the bag red and let it dry.
- Glue white strips on as the barn doors.
- Put the animals in the barn and name each one.
With a grown-up. No heat, nothing hot.
