Clean-up race board
A tidy-up race for the end of the day: a three-minute race timer, a Move and share work sign, a scoreboard with a row for each table, and a 5-4-3-2-1 to bring everyone back.
How to use it
- Press Start on the race timer: three minutes to tidy. Change the length in its gear.
- Give a table points with +1 or +5 when it is tidy; the board names the table in the lead.
- When the timer ends, press 5-4-3-2-1 in the signals widget. It ends on Eyes on me.
Ideas for class
- Rename the scoreboard rows after your tables or teams in the scoreboard's gear.
- Give points for the tidiest table, not the fastest, so nobody rushes and breaks something.
- Change the work symbol word to your own clean-up instruction, such as Books away, in its gear.
- Keep the scores going for a week and reset them on Friday with Scores back to 0.
- Use the chime instead of 5-4-3-2-1 on a quiet afternoon.
- Make the race shorter as the class gets faster, and tell them the new time.

Questions
Can I keep the scores from day to day?
Yes. The scores stay on this board in this browser until you press Scores back to 0 in the scoreboard's gear.
What happens when the timer runs out?
The timer plays its soft chime when it reaches zero (unless you choose the Quiet look in its gear). Then press 5-4-3-2-1 in the signals widget to settle the room.
Will team names show in a shared link?
No. A link or a saved file says Table 1, Team 2 and so on unless you tick Include names in the Class list panel, in case a team is named after a child.
