Centers rotation board
A screen for center time: a large bar timer for each rotation, the stations, a note, a voice-level light, a picker, the clock and attention signals for the change.
How to use it
- The board opens with a 10 minute bar timer. Open the gear on the timer to change the length for each rotation.
- Open the gear on Today and type your stations, one per line. Type a short instruction in the note.
- Press Start on the timer. When it chimes, groups rotate, and you press Reset and Start for the next round.
Ideas for class
- Set the timer to the length of one rotation, and press Reset and Start after each move.
- List the stations in order so groups can see where they go next.
- Use the picker to choose which group goes first, or who explains the next station.
- Keep the voice-level light on amber for center work and switch to red when you teach a small group.
- Enlarge the timer by double-clicking its title during the last rotation so everyone can see the end.
- When the timer chimes, play Clap back or 5-4-3-2-1 from the signals widget to bring every group back before they move.

Questions
How do I set the time for each rotation?
Open the gear on the Timer widget and type the length in minutes, for example 12. You can also choose how it looks: bar, clock, sand, race, quiet or digits.
Can I run two timers at once?
Yes. Add another Timer widget with the Add a widget menu. Each timer runs on its own.
Does the chime play for the timer on the board?
Yes, when it reaches zero, a soft chime plays, unless you chose the Quiet look. Browsers allow sound only after you have pressed something on the page, so press Start once.
What is Clap back?
An attention signal in the signals widget. The board plays a short rhythm while big dots light in time, then shows Your turn, and the class claps it back. Next makes the rhythm longer, up to level 5. The dots work with the sound off too.
