Song: Oranges and Lemons
The words
Oranges and lemons, Say the bells of St. Clement's. You owe me five farthings, Say the bells of St. Martin's. When will you pay me? Say the bells of Old Bailey. When I grow rich, Say the bells of Shoreditch. When will that be? Say the bells of Stepney. I do not know, Says the great bell of Bow. Here comes a candle to light you to bed, And here comes a chopper to chop off your head!
Traditional; public domain. From Top 52 nursery rhymes with lyrics.
Snack
Rainbow Fruit Cup from the Peabody Kitchen: picture steps, allergy swaps and safety lines on the recipe.
Letter pack
AaA is for apple. Print the two pages (a trace page and a color page).
Threes and fours: trace A and a once, then find A in the room and in the book.
Outside: Apple roll relay
Roll a ball (the apple) along the grass to a partner and back. Count the rolls.
How to use it
- Pick the week (any day snaps to its Monday) and the theme.
- Pick the room's ages: each part says what changes for infants, twos, threes and fours, or a mixed room.
- Add a note for any day if you like. Notes stay on this device.
- Print the week for the wall and the family note for the door.
Ideas for class
- Plan four weeks on Sunday night: each week is kept, and the last twelve are listed under the plan.
- Read the same book on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Children join in more the third time.
- Hang the family note by the sign-in sheet so the song comes home.
- Send the plan to your other phone or a co-teacher: the link holds the theme and the week, nothing else.

Can I print the song words?
Yes. Every song is a traditional rhyme or one old enough to be in the public domain, taken from Peabody's lists with the words.
