How we chose

We weighed these, most important first. The order is our judgement against them, not a score or a vote, and a different teacher could reasonably order it differently.

  1. A published price. Whether the vendor's own pricing page shows a figure, and what a small home program would pay.
  2. Check-in, billing, messaging. Whether those three are in the plan, and which plan.
  3. Fits a home program. Whether there is a plan or an option for a family child care home, not only for centers.
  4. Trial and contracts. Whether there is a free trial or plan, and whether the page mentions contracts or setup fees.

We took no money, free products or affiliate commissions for any place on this list, and no link here carries a tracking code. Every fact was read on the maker’s own page on October 30, 2026; prices carry that date because they change. See how we choose and the ad-free promise.
