To save a PDF, choose Print, then “Save as PDF” as the printer. Only the sheets print.

One page, easy to read: 4 sections. A section left empty prints with lines to write on.

How to use it

  1. Type a title and a line under it: the week, your name and your room.
  2. Fill in the sections you want, one item a line. Turn a section off if you don’t need it. A section left empty prints with lines for you to write on by hand.
  3. Add a photo if you like. It stays in your browser tab and is never uploaded.
  4. Press Print for a one-page newsletter, or copy it for Docs or an email. The type shrinks to fit, and a note tells you if there is too much for one page.

Ideas for class

  • Send the same newsletter every Friday: keep your reminders and change only “This week” and “Coming up”.
  • Use “Thank you” for the volunteers, the snack families and the parent who fixed the printer.
  • Print it, and copy the plain text into your class messaging app so families who don’t check paper still get it.
  • Put one photo of the week’s project in the photo box and a short caption.
  • Rename a section: “Coming up” becomes “Dates to remember”, “A note from me” becomes “From our class”.

Questions

Are the things I type saved anywhere?

Only in your browser on this computer, so they are still there next time. They are never sent to us and never put in a share link. Photos are not saved at all; they stay in the open tab.

Can I use student names?

Be careful here: a newsletter goes home to every family. Many schools ask teachers to use first names only, and to get permission before putting a child’s photo or name in something shared. Check your school’s policy. This tool does not send anything anywhere either way.

How do I send it by email?

Use “Copy for Docs or email” and paste into a new message. The headings and bullets come with it. Or print to PDF and attach the file.

Can I add a school logo?

Not yet. Print it and add a sticker or stamp, or use the photo box for a picture.

What if I have too much to say?

The page shrinks the type to fit down to a small size, then tells you if the end is cut off. Shorten the longest section or turn one off.

Nothing you do here is sent to us. Names, lists and settings stay in this browser. No sign-in, no ads.
