Questions

Can I stop a 2 hour timer and restart it later?

Press Pause and the time left stays where it is as long as the page stays open. If you close the page, the timer does not remember the time left, so keep the tab open or note the time.

Will a 120 minute timer keep running if the computer goes to sleep?

The timer counts by the clock, not by ticks, so the time shown is right whenever you look. But if the computer sleeps the whole machine, nothing can play the chime. For a 120 minute block, turn off sleep in your computer's power settings, or keep the screen awake by leaving the page in full screen.

How do I change the 120 minute timer?

Press a preset button or choose Custom and type a length such as 7:30 or 90s. The page address updates to carry the new length, so you can bookmark it or share it. This page always opens at 2 hours.

Will the 120 minute timer keep the right time if the tab is in the background?

Yes. The countdown compares the clock when you pressed Start with the clock now, so it stays right when a tab sleeps. When it reaches zero it plays a short, soft chime (press M to turn the sound off) and the page title in the tab says the time is up.
