Sub pay and miles log v0.1.0

Track the days you sub, the pay you expect at your own rate, and the miles you drive. See each pay period, tick it off when the money comes, and save a spreadsheet file. It stays on your device.

No days yet. Set your rates, then add a day below.

Your rates

Your own figures, kept on this device. The mile rate is whatever you use (a district's, or the one your tax preparer gives you): this page gives no tax advice.

No student names here, please. This log is yours: it stays on this device and is never sent anywhere.

For a spreadsheet or your tax preparer, save the CSV. The backup file brings everything back (days, rates, paid ticks) here or on another device.

How to use it

  1. Type your full and half day rates, how often you're paid, and your mile rate if you track miles.
  2. Add each day you sub: the school, full or half, and the miles. The pay fills in from your rate.
  3. When a paycheck comes, tick its period as paid and type what came if it differs. Save the CSV for your records.

Questions

Where is my information kept?

Only in this browser on this device. Nothing is sent to us or anyone, and nothing goes into a link. Save the backup file now and then: it brings everything back if the browser's data is cleared, or on a new device.

Is this the same log as My sub log?

Yes. A day added here shows in My sub log with its notes, and a day added there shows here with its pay. Your résumé sheet reads the same days.

Which mileage rate should I use?

Your own: a district's reimbursement rate, or the figure your tax preparer gives you. This page multiplies your miles by the rate you type and gives no tax advice.

What does "short" mean on a pay period?

You ticked the period as paid and typed an amount less than the days add up to at your rates. It's a nudge to check the pay stub, not a sum the district owes you.

Nothing you type here is sent to us or put in a link. It stays in this browser. No sign-in, no ads.
