Gradebook and student data tracker v0.1.0

A free gradebook that keeps names and marks on this computer only: add students and assignments, type points, and see percents, a 1 to 4 view and each student’s exit ticket tally. Save a file to your own computer to move it or keep a copy. Or print a blank gradebook page and keep it on paper.

Names and marks stay on this computer only. They are never sent to Peabody, never put in a link, and never read by our counts. On a shared computer, clear them when you finish.

How to use it

  1. Add your students and your assignments with their points possible.
  2. Type each student’s points. Percent and the 1 to 4 view work themselves out.
  3. Mark each student’s exit ticket today: got it, almost or not yet.
  4. Save a file to keep a copy or move to another computer. On a shared computer, clear it when you finish.

Ideas for class

  • Use first names or initials only; the gradebook never needs a full name.
  • Tick “Clear it all when I close this tab” on a shared classroom computer.
  • Print the blank page for a week you are out, and type the marks in when you are back.
  • Sort tomorrow’s groups by the exit ticket counts: the not-yets first.

Questions

Where are the names stored?

Only in this browser on this computer. They are never sent to Peabody, never put in a link and never read by our page counts. Saving a file puts a copy on your own computer and nowhere else.

Can I use it on another computer?

Yes. Save the file here, open it on the other computer’s gradebook page, and choose to merge or replace.

How does the 1 to 4 view work?

It counts 90% and up as 4, 75% as 3, 60% as 2 and anything lower as 1. It is a quick view; use your school’s own scale where it has one.

Names and marks stay on this computer only: no account, no link, no counts. The only way out is a file you save yourself. No ads, no AI.
