The Staffroom
Comments from teachers and parents, read by a person first.
Teachers, homeschool parents and tutors comment on Peabody Teach’s printables, ideas, practice cards and lists: what worked, what they changed, a question. Every comment is read by a person before anyone else can see it, because this site sits on peabody.kids and everything on it must be fine for a child to read.

House rules
- Write as if a student might read over your shoulder.
- No names or identifying details of any child, family, colleague or school.
- No swearing.
- Describe hard moments in general terms, never the details.
- If you’re struggling, ask for help; don’t describe self-harm.
- A child at risk is a matter for your school’s safeguarding lead and the authorities, not a post.
- No selling or promotion; links only to Peabody’s own pages.
Where you can comment
At the bottom of the pages in Printables, Ideas, Top tens and the Library’s practice cards, under “Comments from teachers”. Comments stay with the page they are about.
How it works
- Sign in with your Peabody grown-up account and choose a pen name. Others only ever see the pen name.
- Write your comment. The house rules sit above the box, and it tells you as you type what can’t be sent and what to check.
- A person reads it, usually within a few hours, and publishes it, asks you to change something, or doesn’t publish it.
The Staffroom takes up to 50 new comments a day, so a person can read every one. How moderation works, and what we keep.
Your comments
Your Staffroom page shows where each of your comments is, and any note from the moderators.
