Class mode
A class code, and your class's practice on one map.
Class mode isn't open yet.
Class mode, where children join your class with a code and you see their practice, isn't open yet. Until it is, no child can join a class and nothing on this page asks our server for anything.
How it works
- Sign in with a Peabody grown-up account at your school email address and ask to run classes. A person at Peabody checks you against your school, by hand.
- Make a class. It gets a six-letter code, like ABC DEF, that you put on the board.
- Children who have a Peabody account open My page on peabody.kids, tap Join a class and type the code. Their family is told, and can take them out of the class at any time.
- You see the class's Skill Map: a row for each child, a column for each step in numbers, words and World, from what they practise in Peabody's learning games.
- Set a class Focus (up to 3 skills for the week), give the class your own question sets, and send them to a Live game on your projector.
What you see, and what you never do
You see each child's first name (or a name you give them), their practice and their progress on the Skill Map. You never see their stories, chats, pets, posts, family, email or anything outside practice: the database itself won't show it to a teacher. What a family controls and what we keep.
Who it's for
Classroom teachers whose school is in our list (Colorado's public and private elementary schools so far), from Pre-K to 8th grade, up to 40 children a class and 12 classes a teacher. Free, with no ads.
