Do I need an account, and does Peabody Teach save what I type?

No account is needed, for you or for students. The makers keep your settings and what you type in your own browser, so they are there next time on that computer. When you press Print, the page notes which tool and which layout you printed, and nothing else.

What stays where

  • Quiz, exit ticket, cloze and rubric maker: your settings and text are kept in this browser. A share link carries them after the # in the address, a part of a link that browsers do not send to any server.
  • Conference form: the settings are kept in this browser, and typed notes only in this tab, gone when you close it. It has no share link, because a conference is about one child.
  • Print: the page counts the print with two words from a short list, the tool and the layout. No title, question, pasted list, rubric cell or name goes with it.

Because things are kept in the browser, they don't follow you to another computer. To move a quiz or a rubric, use its share link, or print it to PDF.

Clearing your browser's site data for Peabody clears what the makers remember.
