Our room

This week: families

A families week for twos to fours: who is in a family, how families are different and the same, and what we do together.

Our letter is F: F is for family.

Our song is “Hush, Little Baby”. The words are below, so you can sing it at home.

Our books: Pat, Pat, Pat, Dad Naps, Get Up, Gus!, A Boo for Bea. The ones marked free can be read at peabody.kids, no sign-in.

Hush, Little Baby

Hush, little baby, don't say a word, Papa's gonna buy you a mockingbird. And if that mockingbird won't sing, Papa's gonna buy you a diamond ring. And if that diamond ring turns brass, Papa's gonna buy you a looking glass. And if that looking glass gets broke, Papa's gonna buy you a billy goat.

Traditional (Southern US); public domain.
